
Jared Anderson – Saxophonist and Music Educator
Jared Anderson is a recent music business graduate from Lee University. He is currently pursing a master's degree in Saxophone performance at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, as the Graduate Saxophone Assistant. An active chamber musician and soloist, Jared has performed extensively with the Lee University Wind Ensemble, saxophone quartets, and various chamber ensembles. He has also served the Wind Ensemble as ensemble librarian, demonstrating his commitment to both artistic and organizational excellence.
Beyond performance, Jared is passionate about music education, teaching private lessons and engaging deeply with pedagogy, arranging, and music theory. His artistic vision is guided by a dedication to education, collaboration, and community within the saxophone world.
Jared plans to pursue graduate studies in saxophone performance, with the goal of teaching at the collegiate level, inspiring future generations of performers, educators, and lifelong learners through his artistry and commitment to musical growth.
